Soft Skills
Soft skills or People Skills are personal attributes, behaviors, and social abilities that enable you to effectively interact with others and navigate your work and personal environments.

Unlike hard skills, which are specific, teachable abilities or knowledge sets (such as coding, accounting, or machine operation), soft skills are more about how you work and how you interact with others. They are often considered more intrinsic to one's personality and are generally harder to measure and teach.

Soft skills are crucial for your career success and personal growth, as they influence how well you can work with others and adapt to various workplace situations. They are increasingly valued by employers who recognize that technical skills alone are not sufficient for effective job performance and organizational success.


You are the expert
In these coaching sessions, I will use my expertise and almost 35 years of experience in management training to support, motivate and challenge you to assess your situation from new perspectives.

Although my approach as a coach is based on the assumption that you are the expert in your own life, our confidential conversations will help you see alternatives, so that you can make more conscious and favorable decisions regarding your own development.




 

 
 
 
Three leadership dimensions
The reality of the work situation has three dimensions: "knowing”, "doing” and "being”. In my opinion, the most important - but also the most challenging - is the "being” dimension. You may be highly educated and trained with a lot of technical skills, and you may have many years of experience in leading many different processes. However, what is crucial to your credibility as a leader and to your ability to build an inspiring working environment based on trust and collaboration in your team, is how you behave as a person.


The ´being´ dimension
Your behavior patterns and ways of interacting with others are influenced by many internal and external factors. You have the power to influence some of them, but others you must learn to live with.

During the coaching process, you will become aware of the various aspects of your communication style that stimulate high performance and those you want to improve. You will learn to become more aware of the influence your personality has on other people, and you will develop skills that will help you adapt the interaction to each person and each situation.

In addition, you will receive training in important people skills, like stress management, self-control, mindfulness and emotional intelligence. The focus and challenge will be on how to replace inappropriate, automatic behavior patterns and habits with more effective alternatives.
